Turkon Line will now operate its container services in the Ambarlı region through Marport Terminal. In this scope, the TRI Service on the Türkiye–Red Sea–India trade lane, the USM Service on the North America–Mediterranean trade lane, and the TEL Service on the Türkiye–Egypt–Lebanon route, among others, will continue to be handled at Marport.
Turkon Line has started calling at Marport for its USM Service, which provides direct and regular liner connections between Türkiye’s main ports and ports on the U.S. East Coast.
Through the USM Service, single-transshipment connections are available to Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, India, Egypt, Jordan, Georgia, and Romania. A seasonal direct call at Iskenderun is also offered.
The operation of Turkon Line’s services at Marport is considered an important step in terms of operational efficiency, service quality, and network coverage.
The Partnership Reflects Confidence in Marport’s Operations
The cooperation between Marport, one of Türkiye’s largest container terminals, and Turkon Line, one of the established carriers in Turkish container shipping, shows the trust placed in Marport’s operational capability and terminal services.
With its strong infrastructure and efficiency-focused operations, Marport aims to provide reliable and high-quality services to Turkon Line. This cooperation is expected to create added value both for container volumes in the Ambarlı region and for Türkiye’s foreign trade.
