Arkas Holding Basketball Team delivered an outstanding performance in the National Corporate League (NCL) basketball tournament, organized as an intercompany tournament with the participation of 24 teams, and completed the tournament in second place. Throughout the tournament, the team successfully represented Arkas Holding with its fighting spirit, disciplined style of play, and strong team spirit.
The tournament began in two main conferences, the Western and Eastern Conferences, with 12 teams competing in each. During the group stage, teams were divided into six different groups. The Arkas Holding Basketball Team finished as the undefeated group leader by winning all three matches it played in its group, earning the right to compete in the Gold League based on its point standing.
In the quarterfinal matches played within the scope of the Gold League, the Arkas Holding Basketball Team defeated its strong opponent Cukurova Kimya in both games of the two-legged series. With this result, our team advanced to the semifinals.
Competing against last year’s champion Norm Holding in the semifinals, our team put on a strong performance and earned its ticket to the final.
The final game was noted as one of the most competitive and fast-paced encounters of the tournament. With the score remaining close until the final minutes, the Arkas Holding Basketball Team concluded the tournament in second place, achieving a significant success.
More than just an athletic accomplishment, this result clearly reflected Arkas Holding’s corporate values—teamwork, discipline, determination, and solidarity—through the team’s performance on the court.
