Arkas Holding hosted an important event focused on increasing awareness around corporate ethics and reputation. Organized at the Arkas Holding building in partnership with the Ethics and Reputation Society (TEID), the event titled “Designing Ethical Culture: Human Behavior, HR Systems, and Corporate Ethics” gathered professionals from across the business community.
In her opening speech, Merve Arkas, Monreve Group President, drew attention to the defining role of ethical values in ensuring the long-term success of institutions. Arkas noted, “Sustainable success is not defined solely by financial performance; relationships grounded in trust, a strong ethical culture, and a sense of responsibility form the basis of this structure.”
In the panel organized as part of the event, the development of ethical culture in the business world, the link between human behavior and internal systems, and the role of human resources practices within this framework were examined. Participants had the opportunity to explore ethical decision-making processes and corporate reputation management in a multidimensional manner through examples from different industries.

Çiğdem Çapa, Senior Human Resources Manager at Arkas Maritime Group, emphasized in her speech that ethical culture within the maritime group is not addressed solely within the framework of rules; rather, it has been integrated into everyday ways of working through governance structures, speak-up mechanisms, trainings, and digital solutions such as AskMe. Çapa also shared details regarding the role of the ethics committee and the approach to building a trust-based ethical ecosystem.
After the program, participants gathered over refreshments carefully prepared by Monreve Group, having the chance to continue their conversations and share ideas.
TEID continues its efforts to raise awareness of business ethics in Türkiye, support the widespread adoption of ethical management systems within organizations, and share best practice examples. The association serves as an important reference point in the field of corporate ethics through its training programs, guidelines, and business community gatherings.
