Mind and Life

25.03.2025

The mind is a software that enables a person to perceive their experiences.

A person perceives and interprets the game called life through the mind. They respond to life as they perceive it with their mind. Consequently, their behaviors are shaped, along with the emotions behind them, the thoughts that create those emotions, and the beliefs underlying those thoughts are all shaped. At the foundation of those beliefs are mental codes – predefined patterns, widely accepted without questioning, shaped by society, family and surroundings and often mistaken for absolute truths.

These patterns are often based on countless dualities, generalizations and arbitrary rules – such as “This is how it should be,” “This is right,” “This is wrong,” “Doing this is good” or “Bad,” “There are facts of life,”  “A person should be this way,” “A child should be raised like that,” “A bride should act this way,” and so on. Yet most people never ask the simple question: “Really? According to whom? Based on what?”

In this three-dimensional universe we live in, a person who avoids deep thinking and chooses the easy way out often sees the world in two dimensions. For them, something is either good or bad, right or wrong. However, due to the law of infinite possibilities, every event and situation in life carries countless different interactions, contributions, and reflections. So, by what standard – and according to whom- can we say something is good or bad?

Let’s consider the emotion of helplessness. When someone experiences this, they tend to feel sad and distressed, assuming it’s something bad. However, this emotion can be incredibly valuable for personal growth.

If a person doesn’t question and move beyond the patterns imposed by collective social consciousness, they end up experiencing emotions that are meaningless and unhelpful. Life becomes filled with emotions like anger, hatred, fear and anxiety. I call this “Drama FM.”

So, can a person who experiences life without questioning ever end the war within their mind? Can someone who constantly battles noise and endlessly judges others live a truly fulfilling life? Can they break free from troubles and truly experience love and happiness?

By going deeper into the mind, one can pass through limiting mental codes – in essence, rewrite their own programming. This can only happen through self-awareness.

With love and greetings.
