Organized by the Yeni Asır Newspaper, the Ege YIGIT (Ege Yatırım İhracat Gastronomi İnovasyon Teknoloji) Awards, granted in the fields of export, gastronomy, innovation and technology, were presented to their recipients at a ceremony held in Izmir. Arkas Holding received the “Value Brand for Izmir” award at the event.
Ege YIGIT Awards were presented to their owners. The traditional Ege YIGIT Award Ceremony, organized by Yeni Asir, one of Türkiye’s well-established newspapers, took place at the Hyatt Regency Izmir Istinye Park in Balcova. The event brought together the business world, as well as well-known figures in the arts and politics. At the ceremony, Arkas Holding was awarded as “Value Brand Enriching Izmir’s History, Architecture, Art, Sports, and Economy” based on evaluations of investment, exports, gastronomy, innovation, and technology. Berna Kumas Sipahi, Arkas Holding Corporate Communications Director, received the award on behalf of Arkas from Sedat Acet, Deputy General Manager of Yeni Asır Advertising.
Commenting on the award, Sipahi expressed her happiness to be part of the event and highlighted that Arkas is an international holding company established in Izmir in 1902, representing Türkiye in 22 countries. Sipahi emphasized, “In addition to our contribution to Turkish foreign trade, we consider it one of our most important responsibilities to contribute to the city where we were founded and have grown. We strive to enhance Izmir’s assets in every area from arts to sports and education. I would like to thank you for this award on behalf of our Chairman Lucien Arkas.”
