Strong Infrastructure for Applied Training

As part of the project, in addition to a 24-classroom vocational and technical Anatolian high school building, there will also be a practical training facility where students will receive hands-on education, as well as a student dormitory with a total capacity of 200 students, including accommodation for 100 female and 100 male students. The project and construction works will be undertaken by Arkas Holding on a turnkey basis.

The completion of the new school will increase students’ access to applied learning opportunities. Supported by qualified educational environments aligned with industry needs, students will further develop their vocational skills, contributing to the growth of the qualified workforce demanded by the tourism and service sectors.

Supporting Izmir’s Gastronomy Potential

Highlighting Izmir’s strong position as a center for gastronomy education thanks to its rich culinary culture, agricultural diversity, and tourism potential, the investment aims to contribute to the preservation of local culinary heritage, the promotion of geographically indicated products, and the development of gastronomy tourism.

The gastronomy high school planned for Urla will support the physical capacity of vocational and technical education while also contributing to applied training infrastructure. The project is positioned as a qualified educational investment that advances İzmir’s potential in gastronomy, tourism, and regional development.

Arkas Holding’s Long-Term Support for Education

The gastronomy high school to be established in Urla will mark a new step in Arkas Holding’s long-standing contributions to education. Previously, the Holding introduced Arkas Narlıdere Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Arkas Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Bornova into the public education system, while also supporting the professional development of young people through various initiatives in maritime education, particularly at Dokuz Eylül University Maritime Faculty. The new investment continues Arkas Holding’s approach of creating lasting value in education, with a focus on gastronomy, tourism, and local development.
