Arkas Sailing Team triumphed at the Genoa Sailing Week 2025, held in Italy.
Aiming to compete in 7 international races across Europe during the 2025 racing season, Arkas Sailing Team took part in the first race of the season, Genoa Sailing Week 2025. Organized by Yacht Club Italiano, Genoa Sailing Week included the 70th Andrea Alberti Cup and was between March 28 and 30, with 33 teams from 8 countries participating. Six races were conducted over two days in the ORC 0-A-B groups, with 15 boats taking part. Bernard Arkas’ Arkas Sailing Team, led by helmsman Serhat Altay, won 4 of these races with their TP52 Blue Moon. Finishing first in the overall category, Arkas Sailing Team has completed its first international competition with success. Their next challenge will be at La Lunga de Bolina in Rome between April 25 and 27.
