Arkas Bunker Supplies Sustainable Biofuel to CITROSUCO and DİTAŞ

Arkas Bunker is steadily advancing its sustainable maritime goals with two successful Bio24F bunkering operations carried out in Istanbul. The total supply of 685 tons of biofuel marks a significant contribution to the maritime industry’s transition to low-emission fuels.

As the first company in Türkiye to obtain the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC EU) for marine fuels, Arkas Bunker continues its eco-friendly fuel deliveries at full pace. Following previous supplies for major global shipowners such as Arkas Line and Yang Ming, the company, which has made significant contributions to biofuel supply in Türkiye, has now completed two new Bio24F operations in Istanbul.

500 Tons Supplied to Carlos Fischer

The first operation, carried out on July 26, 2025, involved the delivery of 500 tons of Bio24F (0.1% sulfur) to the vessel Carlos Fischer, owned by CITROSUCO.  The operation was completed smoothly by the Ulucak barge, led by Captain Hilmi Turker.

185 Tons Supplied to T.Adalyn

The second operation took place on August 7, 2025, with 185 tons of Bio24F (3.5% sulfur) supplied to the scrubber-equipped T.Adalyn, a vessel in the fleet of DİTAŞ (Deniz İşletmeciligi ve Tankerciliği A.Ş.), a subsidiary of KOÇ Holding. This operation was conducted seamlessly using the Alsancak 2 barge, led by Captain Recep Kasarcı.

Following the successful completion of both operations, the captains of the vessels were presented with commemorative plaques by Arkas Bunker.
