Arkas has achieved a significant milestone in the latest assessment published by RISK4SEA, the international maritime data and analytics platform. Based on its Port State Control (PSC) performance over the past three years, the Arkas Maritime Fleet ranked third among more than 200 ship managers assessed worldwide and ranked first globally in the Large Containers segment, covering vessels between 10,000 and 90,000 DWT.
Top Rankings with Over 80% Performance
In RISK4SEA’s analysis based on PSC data for the period from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2026, Arkas achieved an overall performance score of 81%, ranking third worldwide, with its 50 operated vessels recording 273 PSC inspections.
In the Large Containers segment, Arkas recorded 285 PSC inspections and ranked first in its category with a high-performance score.

The results demonstrate not only Arkas’s operational success, but also the competence of Turkish seafarers in meeting international standards. The performance demonstrated by vessel crews composed of Turkish seafarers across a large number of international inspections provides tangible evidence of their technical expertise, safety culture and operational discipline. Combined with Arkas’s strong position within the Turkish-flagged fleet, this achievement also contributes to the international reputation and visibility of the Turkish maritime industry.
