Türkiye Collection

Gozgec mentioned that their aim is to differentiate themselves by introducing new products to their consumers. He further added that one of their significant projects is the “Regional Flavors and Olive Varieties Preservation Project,” which is initiated to safeguard the cultural legacy of the country. “We introduced the ‘Kristal Türkiye Collection’ to consumers in April as part of this project, featuring extra virgin olive oils derived from lesser-known olive varieties grown in various Anatolian regions,” stated Gozgec. Our agricultural engineers supervised the entire production process of the extra virgin olive oils in the collection, which included Ayvalik, Kilis Yaglik, Sari Ulak, and Hatay Saurani varieties, to ensure meticulous execution.

New Advertising Campaign from Kristal

Kristal Oil began the first quarter of 2023 with a brand communication investment. The franchise produced a commercial film featuring Kenan Dogulu’s popular song “Ben Guzelden Anlarım” (I Know Beauty) as the background music, and set the slogan “Kristal, an Outstanding Olive Oil Brand for those who know beauty.” Gozgec said, “With this commercial, we aim to reach our brand to a wider audience by gaining a place in the minds and hearts of olive oil lovers. Our communication campaign will be broadcast on national and thematic TV channels, radio channels and digital channels throughout the year.

Kristal aiming to increase exports with the Turquality program

Kristal Oil, which became a member of the Turquality Brand Support Program in the previous year, is still supporting the goal of promoting Turkish olive oil and aiming to expand its market share globally by receiving support for four years. Gozgec said, “We took our place in the Turquality brand support program in 2021. Over the past two years, we have witnessed a twofold increase in our fully packaged and Kristal-branded exports. Looking ahead, our objective will be to expand the proportion of branded and packaged exports even more.”
