The Open International Optimist Saronic Regatta races organized in Greece have come to an end. Atan Calik, one of the athletes of Arkas Cesme Sailing Sports Club, achieved a rank in his category, finishing 2nd in the race.
The Open International Optimist Saronic Regatta 2023, organized by the Palaia Fokea “Pytheas” Sea Sports Club, was held in Palaia Fokea, 49 km from Athens, between April 6th and 10th. Arkas Cesme Sailing Sports Club participated in the races held in Anabyssos Gulf and Saronic Gulf with 14 athletes. In the U10 category, Atan Calik successfully completed the race after a highly competitive struggle. Calik took 2nd place in the course. Demir Karahan, Iskender Saryal, Muhsin Efe Dikmen, Alp Saruhanli, Bora Yesilderya, Mert Cakmak, Ela Tugcu, Asya Mira Yapan, Tibet Otuzlu, Zeynep Dilber, Chiara Ela Aliberti, Alp Sincer and Kaya Dundar were among our athletes who competed in the races in Athens.
