A New Hospitality Experience in the Heart of the Vineyard: Les Bungalows

Les Bungalows, a new venture launched by Monreve Group blending nature, architecture, and gastronomy, has officially opened its doors, introducing a fresh perspective to the vineyard hotel concept. Conducted by Gurer Aykal, the Izmir Philharmonic Orchestra performed a memorable concert for the guests, held within the Lucien Arkas Vineyards.

The opening night of Les Bungalows offered not only a connection with nature but also special moments enriched with art. Attended by prominent figures from high society, the event featured the largest concert ever held in the heart of a vineyard in Türkiye. Set on a stage constructed within the Lucien Arkas Vineyards, the Izmir Philharmonic Orchestra performed a classical music concert led by Gurer Aykal, a well-known maestro in Türkiye.

“A Living Space Where the Past Meets the Present”

At the opening ceremony, Lucien Arkas, Chairman of Arkas Holding, said:
“Monreve Group, which my wife Merve Arkas and I founded in 2022, marked a new chapter for me in tourism. Our investment journey began with Monreve Alaçatı and now evolves with Les Bungalows, taking the vineyard hotel concept to a new level. We are located on the lands of the ancient city of Metropolis, surrounded by archaeological treasures such as ancient aqueducts and tumuli. These lands are not only a site of agricultural production but also part of a cultural continuity spanning thousands of years. We see viticulture not just as a form of production, but as a symbol of life, labor, and respect for nature. The step we’re taking today is a shared invitation to all who believe in sustainability, culture, and a good life.”

Merve Arkas, Chairperson of the Board of Monreve Group, added:
“When envisioning Les Bungalows, we aimed to create more than just a place to stay — we wanted an agro-tourism living space where life is reimagined in harmony with nature. We’re bringing together agriculture, gastronomy, culture, and sustainable living. We believe this lifestyle, built among the vineyards, is a natural fit for the Aegean region. For us, Les Bungalows represents not only the present but a philosophy of life that will evolve with the awareness of future generations.”

Merve Arkas also shared insights about their upcoming plans:
“We are now expanding this concept on an international scale. In Italy’s Tuscany region, we are reinterpreting it with history and nature. We have named this project Tenuta Aliotti, inspired by Lucien Arkas’ family roots and history. On a nearly 1,000-acre estate, we are restoring 16th-century villas to bring the project to life. Guests will join grape harvests, learn with local producers, and reconnect with nature. We at Monreve Group are transferring our vision on viticulture and hospitality to this project. We are carefully conducting the restoration process as a reflection of the value we place on art and history. Our goal is to make Tenuta Aliotti a major destination that offers a blend of unique experiences of the region.”

Sustainability at the Core

Just like the rest of the Lucien Arkas Vineyards, Les Bungalows runs entirely on solar energy. Its architectural choices and landscaping are based on the principle of minimal impact on nature.

From Elegant Dining to Efficient Meetings

Gastronomy holds a central role at the venue. The third branch of Montiano Restaurant, part of Monreve Group, offers Italian cuisine with a Mediterranean twist.

The Bib Gourmand–awarded LA Mahzen Restaurant stands out with its globally inspired dishes prepared using local ingredients. Its 50-person meeting room also makes it a venue for corporate hosting and company events.
