Mert Oruz, Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Arkas Holding, was acknowledged as one of Türkiye’s Most Effective CIOs at the “Future Of CIO & Awards”, Türkiye’s most comprehensive CIO summit.
The CIO awards, aimed at recognizing the efforts of IT leaders in conceptualizing and successfully implementing innovation and digital transformation initiatives within their organizations, were presented at a ceremony held at Ciragan Palace. Mert Oruz, CIO of Arkas Holding, was among the IT leaders who attended the ceremony. Oruz received an award in the Most Effective Leaders category, which recognizes CIOs who shape their colleagues and the ecosystem while increasing efficiency of their companies with projects they develop. Mert Oruz, CIO of Arkas Holding, participated as a speaker in the session titled “How Do You Create Digital Strategy When the Digital Economy Is Constantly Changing?” In his speech, Oruz emphasized, “Given the significant shifts such as evolving digital economic conditions, the pandemic, and sustainability pressures, crafting an information technology strategy is challenging yet more important than ever for companies. In such challenging conditions, we must devise IT strategies that position our companies as pioneers in the competition while keeping customer satisfaction at the core of our strategy.”
