Organized by the Turkish Mountaineering Federation in Isparta, the Sport Climbing – Short Rock Türkiye Championship concluded. Arkas Cesme Sailing Sports Club athlete Kaan Altinay won the top spot in the Junior Men’s Category in the championship.
The first contest of the championship, held at Isparta Suleyman Demirel University Sports Hall from February 1st to 4th, 2024, featured Junior C-D categories on February 1st and 2nd. A total of 110 athletes competed in this category. Contests in the Junior B-A and Junior categories took place on February 3rd and 4th. A total of 84 athletes competed in these stages. Arkas Cesme Sailing Sports Club athletes also participated in the Sport Climbing – Short Rock Türkiye Championship. Arkas Cesme Sailing Sports Club athlete Kaan Altinay won the Junior Category in the Sport Climbing – Short Rock Türkiye Championship. Efe Alpman from Asya Dagcilik Sports Club won second place in the competition, with Muhammed Oguz Kaganoglu from Balikesir Metropolitan Belediyespor finishing in the third place. A total of six athletes competed in Altinay’s class.
Our athlete Kuzey Altinay won the 5th place in the Junior B Men Category, where a total of 18 athletes competed. The competitions were hosted by Isparta Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and Suleyman Demirel University.
