The general assembly meeting of Izmir Maritime Transporters Association concluded. Sukriye Vardar was re-elected as the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, while Lucien Arkas, Chairman of Arkas Holding, and Bernard Arkas, Arkas Holding Vice President, were also in the Board of Directors.
The General Assembly of Izmir Maritime Transporters Association was held at Kucuk Kulup Alliance Restaurant. The general assembly attracted significant interest from the members of the association. Yusuf Ozturk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the IMEAK Chamber of Shipping, Izmir Branch, presided over the General Assembly. At the general assembly, the management and supervisory boards were unanimously acquitted. In the election, the members unanimously voted to continue with Sukriye Vardar. Lucien Arkas, Chairman of Arkas Holding, and Bernard Arkas, Arkas Holding Vice President, were also in the board of directors. Other members comprised of Yigit Ozbutev, Salih Urker, Corrado Dragonetti, and Ahmet Neset Erensoy. Didem Unlu, Alper Bayir and Umut Yalcin were appointed to the supervisory board.
Established in 1913, Izmir Maritime Transporters Association is one of the oldest maritime organizations in Türkiye.
