For season 2020-2021, Medicana Health Group has become the health sponsor of Arkas Spor, which created the infrastructure for Turkish volleyball and the basis of the Turkish National Team with professional investments and reached international success by gaining the title of European champion. A sponsorship agreement including all health services was signed between Arkas Spor and Medicana Health Group, which supports all kinds of sports with its hospitals located in every province.
Having contributed to the development of Turkish volleyball by training players in its own facilities in Izmir, Arkas Spor continues to gain international success with its professional sailing team that consists only of Turkish and permanent players. Medicana Health Group has become the 2020-2021 health sponsor of Arkas Sports Club, which maintains the mission to raise athletic generations. Bahadır Osman, Board Member of Arkas Spor, and Şeyda Burcu İkiz, Corporate Communications Manager of Medicana International Izmir Hospital, participated in the signing ceremony held in Arkas Sports Club Örnekköy Facilities. Stating that they support all kinds of sports in every province, where they open a new hospital, due to the fact that health and sports cannot be seen as separate from each other, Şeyda Burcu İkiz added, “We are glad to be the health sponsor of Arkas Spor that brought our country significant success in both national and international platforms. We hope that our collaboration also continues in the next years. In this context, I’d like to wish great success for the Men’s Arkas Spor Team, which will represent our country in the European Champions League.” Expressing that we pass through a sensitive period in terms of health, Bahadır Osman said, “In such important days, the sponsorship of Medicana Health Group is of great importance for us.
