Kristal Oil, which has been operating in the Turkish olive oil sector for 85 years without compromising its quality, presented their extra virgin olive oil products obtained from olive varieties grown in different regions of Anatolia to olive oil enthusiasts under the name “Kristal Türkiye Collection”.
Kristal Oil, the first olive oil company in Türkiye to produce branded olive oil and the first to export branded packaged olive oil, aims to reach its consumers by making a difference with new products. Within the scope of one of the most meaningful projects of the company, “the project for the protection of regional flavors and olive varieties”, the franchise presents extra virgin olive oils obtained from olive varieties grown in different regions of Anatolia and not very well known to consumers under the name “Kristal Türkiye Collection”. The entire production process of the extra virgin olive oils produced from Ayvalik, Kilis Yaglik, Sari Ulak and Hatay Saurani varieties in the collection was meticulously carried out under the supervision of our agricultural engineers.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Yellow Ulak Variety
Yellow Ulak, a common olive variety grown in the entire Mediterranean region, is consumed both for oil and table. Olive oils from this olive variety have a medium fruity flavor, with a slight bitterness on the tongue, moderate burning in the nasal cavity, and flavors of various herbs and vegetables.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Kilis Oil Variety
Kilis Yaglik, a type of olive unique to Kilis, stands out as a small-sized fruit with a high oil content. Olive oils produced from this variety have a spicy flavor. When tasted, there is a sharp bitterness and burning on the tongue and sweet aromas of red and green fruits in the nasal cavity.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil Ayvalik
Ayvalik, a common olive variety grown in the Gulf Region, which consists of Ayvalik, Gomec, Burhaniye, Edremit and Havran districts in the North Aegean region, is used in kitchens as both oil and table olives. Olive oils produced from this olive variety have a mild flavor and a slight bitterness and burning sensation when tasted.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Hatay Saurani Variety
Hatay Saurani olives are indigenous to the Altinozu region and olive oils produced from this olive variety show intense bitterness and burning as well as aromatic properties. When tasted, they leave an intense flavor in the mouth. They also leave spicy and vegetable flavors in the nasal cavity.
