Praise for Piri Reis

The Consul General of France in Istanbul, Nadia Fandon, visited Private Piri Reis Schools. Fandon, who chatted with the students, expressed that she was impressed by their responses.

Nadia Fandon, who was appointed to the position of Consul General of France in Istanbul in August, visited Private Piri Reis Schools as part of her tour in Izmir. Fandon was welcomed by Sabrina Ataseven, the General Manager of Private Piri Reis Schools, at the Güzelbahçe campus. She was accompanied by Bernard Arkas, the Honorary Consul of France in Izmir, and Juliette Bompoint, the Director of the French Cultural Center in Izmir.

After a brief tour of the school, Fandon observed classes in the kindergarten and elementary school, chatting with the students. She then received information from General Manager Ataseven about the school and the language education offered. Fandon mentioned that she was impressed with the students’ level of French and expressed surprise at the amount of time dedicated to both French and English. She found the school’s traditional “Big Brother-Big Sister-Little Brother-Little Sister” Project very creative and suggested that this project could be further developed to also support students traveling from Türkiye to France for their studies. She also praised the ongoing preparations for the new high school, which will equip students with 21st-century skills.
