2020 Atlas Lojistik Ödülleri (Atlas Logistics Awards) were given out in a ceremony organized via digital media. At the 11th Atlas Logistics Awards organized this year, Arkas Logistics was presented an award in the category “International Commercial Goods Transporters (C2)”.
The “Atlas Logistics Awards” ceremony was held on December 15. Due to Covid-19 measures, the event, which has continued without interruption for 11 years, took place in a virtual environment. Deputy of Trade, Rıza Tuna Turagay, Deputy Chairman of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) and Chairman of Istanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association (IHKIB), Mustafa Gültepe, chairmans and executives of sectoral associations, important names in the business world and professionals in the logistics sector participated in the awards ceremony. Turagay informed the participants about Turkey’s investments in logistics infrastructure, the Belt and Road Project, the adjustments made in the areas of transportation and logistics. Arkas Logistics has become the winner of the Atlas award in the category “International Commercial Goods Transporters (C2)” at the event, where a total of 68 nominees competed with each other and 11 export companies were deemed to be worthy of an award by the jury.
The criteria to win the award in this category, which Arkas Logistics was given, included total turnover, number of employees, number of branches abroad, number of cruises abroad and the total amount of vehicles with C2 certificates. Offering services in the sector in a global sense, the company has 12 offices abroad and 1387 employees. Arkas Logistics won the award in category C2 last year, too.
