Romar Shipping has been selected as the “Company of the Year” for two consecutive years at the “Most Successful Companies of 2022” organized by the Chamber of Commerce in Constanta, Romania.
The award ceremony, held for the 30th time this year in collaboration with prominent businessmen in Constanta, also saw participation from academic, diplomatic, and local government circles. Romar Shipping, an Arkas Holding company, secured the top spot as the “Company of the Year” in its sector once again, based on the last three years’ turnover and volume values among registered businesses in the chamber. The award was presented to Barış Ersoy, the General Manager of Romar Shipping, by Mihai Draban, the President of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. As the investment of Arkas in Romania and the agency of Arkas Line in Romania, “ROMAR SHIPPING” not only connects Romanian exporters’ cargo from Romania to Turkish ports but also facilitates the transportation of cargo for Romanian exporters to significant trade centers like Casablanca, Barcelona, Tangier, Marseille, Piraeus, Alexandria, Poti, Novorossiysk, Dakar, served by Arkas Line. Similarly, the import shipments from all these ports contribute to the development of trade in Romania. Apart from the port office in Constanta, Romar Shipping also has sales and marketing offices in the capital, Bucharest.
