The winners of the 2021 Atlas Logistics Awards, organized as part of the International Logitrans Transport Logistics Exhibition, were awarded at the ceremony held at Istanbul Expo Center (IEC) on November 11.
Presidents and executives of sectoral associations, as well as important businesspeople and logistics professionals have participated in the award ceremony of the event, that has been going on for 12 years. Arkas Logistics has been awarded with two Atlas awards in the “International Sea Transport Companies – Forwarder” and “Domestic Logistics Operators-L1” categories.
The award in the L1 category has been presented to Serhat Kurtulus, General Manager of Arkas Logistics, by Selcuk Onur, General Manager of the Journal of Logistics Equipment (Lojistik Ekipmanlar Dergisi). The award in the Forwarder category, on the other hand, has been presented to Faruk Dursun, Forwarding Services Group Manager at Arkas Logistics, by Ilker Altun, Managing Director at Aysberg Press & Publishing Co.
While the evaluation criteria for the first Atlas award given to Arkas Logistics in the “International Sea Transport Companies-Forwarder” category included total turnover, number of employees, overseas sea transport and overseas sea transport of bulk cargoes; the evaluation criteria for the second Atlas award in the “Domestic Logistics Operators L1” category included total turnover, number of employees, number of self-owned vehicles, number of branches and indoor storage spaces.
