ASM Invites Kids for Arts and Crafts on April 23

Arkas Art Center has organized fun workshops to celebrate the joy of April 23, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, with children. At the workshops to be designed for different age groups, kids will both enjoy the exhibition “Myths and Daydreams” from the Elgiz Collection and do three dimensional activities.

Arkas Art Center is celebrating April 23, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, a day that was dedicated to all the children of the world by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and is the only day dedicated to children, with free workshops.

This year, just like every other year, Arkas Art Center will be a popular destination for kids on April 23. At the center, the workshop “April 23: A Day for All the Children of the World!” will be held for kids between 5 and 7 years, while the workshop “A Holiday of Joy” will be for kids between 8 to 10 years. Accompanied by a guide, a 30-minute exhibition tour will take place for each age group, before the workshops start. During the exhibition tour, children are going to take a closer look at the Myths and Daydreams Exhibition from the Elgiz Collection that is to be exhibited until July 31 at Arkas Art Center. Furthermore, they will gain basic information on how to visit a museum and how to look at artwork. Then at the workshops, kids will talk about April 23 and decorate their rooms or homes with three-dimensional works that reflect the joy of the holiday.

To participate in these free workshops with limited quota, please send us an e-mail to the address etkinlik@arkassanatmerkezi.com, containing details on the date and name of the workshop, and the age group.
