Limon (Port-Online), a mobile application developed by Marport Terminal Operators for its employees within the scope of digitalization, has been awarded the silver and bronze Stevie Award in two separate categories at the 18th International Business Awards.
The winners of the Stevie Awards, one of the most prestigious business awards in the world, have been announced. Having been designed to make the access to office transactions easier for the employees of Marport, the 24/7 Open Office “Limon” application has received two awards at the 18th Stevie International Business Awards. The Limon project, the name of which was inspired by the words “liman” (port in Turkish) and “online”, has been both the Silver Stevie Winner in the Human Capital Management Solution category and the Bronze Stevie Winner in the Integrated Mobile Experience category. Organizations of various sectors and sizes from 65 countries have submitted more than 3800 entries in 18 categories, each of which includes sub-categories, for the 18th International Business Awards. The winners were designated during the 2-month judging process between June and August with the average scores of the judges, consisting of more than 260 professionals from all around the world. Each submitted entry was scored on a 1-10 scale by judges of at least 5 experts in the relevant field.
Many well-known companies from Turkey and various countries across the world have participated in the 2021 Stevie International Business Awards. Just like Marport, Sabanci Holding has been the Silver Stevie Winner in the Human Capital Management Solution category with “Sabanci Digital HR Solutions” and Yapi Kredi has been the Bronze Stevie Winner in the Integrated Mobile Experience category with “Yapi Kredi Mobile Approval”. Other well-known Turkish companies such as Socar, Isbank, Teb, Akcansa and Total, as well as international companies such as IBM, Hilton, SAP, Google, Tata and Dell are among the organizations that have been awarded in different categories this year.
The mobile application “Limon” enables all employees of Marport Terminal Operators to access office transactions 24/7 online. Another aim is to increase in-house communication by using the mobile application, which was launched under the leadership of the Directorate of Human Resources at the Port and Terminal Operators Group with the coordination of the Directorate of Information Systems and the contributions of the Business Development team. Personnel and contact information, leave management screens, payrolls, information on trainings received, ethics hotline, suggestion system, platforms to perform various questionnaires, occupational safety notifications, in-house announcements, different procedures and regulations, areas to send individual requests; all of them can be reached via the functions of Limon.
